Description [src]

Gets the PurpleContactManagerBackend that the user interface wants to use.

Note: This should typically only be called by libpurple. If this returns NULL, then libpurple will not be able to persist contacts.

Return value

Type: PurpleContactManagerBackend

The new contact manager backend.

The caller of the method takes ownership of the returned data, and is responsible for freeing it.
The return value can be NULL.
