Description [src]

Attempts to open uri and calls callback with the result.

Available since: 3.0

This method completes asynchronously. Use purple_ui_open_uri_finish() inside the GAsyncReadyCallback to obtain the result of the operation.

Parameters

uri

Type: const char*

The uri to open.

The data is owned by the caller of the method.
The value is a NUL terminated UTF-8 string.
cancellable

Type: GCancellable

An optional cancellable.

The argument can be NULL.
The data is owned by the caller of the method.
callback

Type: GAsyncReadyCallback

A callback to call with the results.

The argument can be NULL.
data

Type: gpointer

User data to pass to callback.

The argument can be NULL.
