Description [src]

Starts the process of searching for contacts using account that match text.

Call purple_protocol_contacts_search_finish() to get the results.

Parameters

account

Type: PurpleAccount

The PurpleAccount to search under.

The data is owned by the caller of the function.
text

Type: const char*

The text to search for which must not be an empty string.

The data is owned by the caller of the function.
The value is a NUL terminated UTF-8 string.
cancellable

Type: GCancellable

Optional GCancellable object, NULL to ignore.

The argument can be NULL.
The data is owned by the caller of the function.
callback

Type: GAsyncReadyCallback

A GAsyncReadyCallback to call when the request is satisfied.
