Description [src]

Ask the connection to set the display name.

Available since: 3.0

This method completes asynchronously. Use purple_connection_set_display_name_finish() inside the GAsyncReadyCallback to obtain the result of the operation.

Parameters

display_name

Type: const char*

The new display name.

The argument can be NULL.
The data is owned by the caller of the method.
The value is a NUL terminated UTF-8 string.
cancellable

Type: GCancellable

The cancellable.

The argument can be NULL.
The data is owned by the caller of the method.
callback

The optional callback.
